Karnak Temple
Karnak Temple, located in Luxor, Egypt, is one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in the world. It was primarily dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, with Amun being the central deity. The temple complex, which spans over 100 hectares, was built and expanded over a period of approximately 2,000 years, from the Middle Kingdom (around 2000 BCE) through to the Ptolemaic period (around 30 BCE).
