An architectural masterpiece in the Heliopolis neighbourhood, it was built between 1907 and 1911 by the Belgian Baron Edouard Louis Joseph Empain. French architect Alexandre Marcel was commissioned to build this architectural masterpiece in the Indian style.The interior design of the palace consists of a basement and two floors topped by a roof, surrounded by a large garden on all sides. The basement is dedicated to the servants' quarters and consists of a series of rooms connected by corridors and doors, and the upper floors are ascended by a staircase inside the cylindrical tower of the palace, as well as a lift for the kitchen. The ground floor includes a reception room, a dining room and a billiard room, while the first floor consists of four rooms, each with a balcony and a bathroom.
