The Unfinished Obelisk
The Unfinished Obelisk is an ancient monument located in Aswan, Egypt, and is considered one of the largest obelisks ever attempted. The obelisk was carved directly out of the bedrock and would have measured about 42 meters (137 feet) in height if finished, weighing an estimated 1,200 tons.
