The Unfinished Obelisk is a huge obelisk located in Aswan, one of the largest unfinished obelisks in ancient Egypt. It was found in an Aswan quarry, and it is believed that the pharaohs were planning to use it to decorate temples or public places. The obelisk is about 41 meters long and weighs about 1,200 tons, but during the process of carving it in the quarry, it was discovered to contain cracks and work on it was halted. This obelisk is a great example of the pharaohs' skill in cutting and polishing rocks, and it illustrates the process of making huge obelisks that were used in funerary temples or as royal symbols.

In the 1960s, the temple was relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from being submerged due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
